Dr. Jim Lutz has been on staff since 1980. He helped Dr. Vaprezsan to start Metro Baptist Schools, which is in its 30th year where he is the school principal and English teacher.

Bro. Lutz is very active in the ministries of the church. He is a bus captain, Sunday School teacher and soul-winner.

Bro. Lutz and his wife Vicky have 4 children. Their daughter Amy and her husband are members of Metro Baptist Church. Amy’s husband, Derek Southwick, also teaches in Metro Baptist School. The Lutz’s daughter, Becky, and her husband are very active members of Metro Baptist Church. Their daughter Christy is the Kindergarten teacher at Metro Baptist School. Their son David is married and lives in Highland, IN, where he is the Singles Pastor at First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana. The Lutz’s have four grandchildren.
